Spark Energy has been nominated for the Growth Business of the Year award at the inaugural Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards.

The Business Excellence Awards have been created to celebrate Borders companies who are demonstrating excellence in their field.  Businesses are invited to showcase success in areas such as growth, employee development, international trade and innovation. 

Councillor Vicky Davidson, Executive Member for Economic Development, Scottish Borders Council, said “The Business Excellence Awards are a great opportunity for Borders businesses from all sectors, including not-for-profit organisations, to get the recognition they deserve, and to showcase their continued commitment to their staff and to innovation.”

“The last 18 months have been very tough but we know from our ongoing work with businesses that there are success stories out there. This is a great opportunity for companies to gain the recognition they deserve for their achievements.”

Winners will be announced on Friday 19^th March.
