Accountant, Spark Energy Limited-Selkirk

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main duties of the role will include the responsibility for daily supervision of the collections team, assisting with the preparation of the monthly management reporting pack, preparation of the monthly VAT Return, preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules and reconciliations, preparing cash flows and assisting with the preparation and analysis of department budgets.

To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of two years experience as an accountant.   We would welcome applications from both qualified and part qualified ICAS/ICAEW/ACCA Accountants. The successful candidate will also have intermediate to advance MS excel skills and experience of using Access Accounts (or similar accounting package).
