As of 1 July 2009 we have reduced the standard tariff for customers paying for their energy consumption by direct debit.  For the average gas customer this means a reduction of 11% and for the average electricity customer an even greater saving of 16%.  This equates to saving of over £160 per annum for a dual fuel customer
