Price commitment

Here at Spark, we want to make sure you don't pay more than you have to for your energy which is why we always suggest customers pay via direct debit and provide regular meter readings, but that's only part of the solution.

From our first day as a utility company we've always provided a Price Commitment, namely:

To set our standard tariff for an average user* at or below the equivalent tariff of the Big 6**

The idea being to give all of our customers comfort that whilst we may be smaller than the Big 6, our prices will always be competitive.

*Average user calculation based on property consuming 16,500 KWh gas and 3,300KWh electricity per year in post code B6 6HD

** Big 6 energy companies include BG, Eon, EDF, SSE, Scottish Power and Npower
